Strata-providing mezzanine finance to developers with track record for schemes in the south of the UK

Strata was formed by evolve Fund Services Limited ('evolve') and Davon Limited ('Davon'), two businesses that specialise in the property sector in the UK. The main aim of the two companies was to establish a business specialising in mezzanine lending that offered a simple, straightforward and transparent structure for UK residential developers in the South of the UK.

Strata was launched in April 2007 and it has now traded for 16 months. It has provided finance for 13 schemes, with over £7.5m advanced on loans with a twelve month term with a further top up loan expected for two of the schemes shortly. July 2008
The total sum invested in Strata at the final
close date of 31st July 2008 is £12.97m. A total of 13
loans have now been advanced with a total loan book of
£7.53m. The first redemption is expected in September.
The Fund audit has now been completed.
June 2008
The final closing date for new equity investors
is the 31st July 2008. A total of 12 loans have now been
advanced with a total loan book of £6.867m. One of the
earlier loans will be redeemed in the next 2 months.
May 2008
Two further loans have been advanced with three loans now in lawyers hands and proceeding for completions in May.
The sixth closing took place on the 10th April
with total equity invested in Strata now £11.899m. The final closing date has been
extended to the 31st July 2008. A third trading
statement will be released during May.
